What Stores Sell Puzzles for Grown Ups?

Our family has started a Thanksgiving weekend puzzle tradition - but I've waited too long to buy one online this year. Oops. I seem to remember a kiosk at Clackamas Town Center, but other than that, I'm not sure where to look. This is NOT a puzzle the kids help with - we go for the ridiculous 2000 piece picture of wine bottle cork type of torture. :-) Can anyone help?

What can I do next?

There is a puzzle store at the Alderwood Mall. (At least there was the last time I went. I'm not a frequent mall shopper.) The Fred Meyer near my house has a fairly decent selection of puzzles. I know they had some that were at least 1500 pieces. They also had some pretty challenging designs. I don't know if they are all like that, but since they are everywhere, it would be a good place to start.

Is there a Hastings near you? or most any book store would be your best bet... Wal-mart has a few, but not much of a selection.

Try the Portland Art Museum. Their gift shop is free (without admission) and has a separate entrance near the courtyard. I'd call first, though, as parking can be tough. I also know some friends who always get their 'torture' puzzles at Walgreens!

I don't know where you live, but out here in Aloha, on TV Hwy, there is a place called Rainy Day Games, and I'm pretty sure they have those puzzles.
