What Is Your Hubby Getting for Christmas This Year?

I have one of those guys that doesn't really want or need much and when he does, he just goes out and buys it. He's a gardener, home brewer and kayaker. But he has everything he needs and wants for those hobbies. I am stuck for Christmas ideas for the first time in years. So maybe I can get inspiration from you mamas. What is your hubby getting for Christmas this year?

What can I do next?

We are decided to just exchange stocktings this year. So gift cards, sunflower seeds (his fav snack), a new toothbrush (he loves the spin brush), a new travel coffee mug, and maybe a small bottle of cologne. I think thats pretty much all I can jam in the stocking. =)

A Bjob!!! That's all he really wants anyway! He's the same way, if he wants something, he usually just buys it. We don't exchange gifts anymore. I think this year we are going to buy a new camera for our Christmas present.

I'm so excited to get my husband's gift. A Japanese Steakhouse (Benihana) is doing something where you can come in for a one on one training with a chef, they teach you how to cook their food and a couple tricks then you come back later in the week and cook for three friends. You get a chef's hat and apron, a picture while you are cooking and a certificate. My husband's dream is to go to culinary school so I think he will love this.

My husband is getting a blu-ray player and some blu ray movies this year. We also got him a new wallet (his is over 10 years old!) and the same things he gets every year- belt, socks, and underwear. We also made a photo collage of pictures with him and my daughter together at Walgreens.com and put it in a nice frame. Also- he and my daughter love to make pancakes together so from my daughter he's getting a griddle, a really nice spatula, a glass bowl with a spout, a plate with a top (to keep the pancakes warm), and a box of pancake mix.
Maybe you could get your husband some kayaking accessories or is there something special that he does with your children? Maybe you could get him something pertaining to that? Or is there something you two did during the year that you could maybe recreate or get something that reminds him of that? Maybe a gift certificate to something guyish that he likes (movie theater, gym, etc)?
Good luck and happy holidays!

umm... i don't have a husband, but i do have a man in my life. my wonderful boyfriend and i agreed to not spend money on christmas this year, we're gonna spend it all on my daughter and his sons. well, the type of person i am, i still wanted to get him something. so i have decided i am going to cook his favorite dinner and give him a coupon book for things... i'm not sure what exactly is going into it... but probably something like getting out of taking the trash one day, a day to sleep in without interruption, a back rub, maybe a night of nookie, things like that. i'm also going to make wreathes of the kids hands for him. so the kids will give him that. if you're looking for more things to buy him, why not do a lot of little things? like a new pair of headphones, or a new pocket knife or whatever... good luck

Mine is getting a Kindle. He'd say he doesn't want one, he is not really into techno stuff, but he will order a 5 books from Amazon before February and be irritated waiting for their arrival in the mail. So, I made an executive decision to give him electronic books, lol. I plan to pre-load 3 of the books he has requested as Xmas gifts. :)

I bought myself a sewing machine. ;) And he'll probably give me a kindle, so then we'll both have one.

If your guy reads books on any of his hobbies, he might be able to get them via an e-reader....

My DH's birthday is Dec. 23, so I buy him both a big birthday gift and Christmas gift. He is a hunter, so for his big bday gift I bought him a rangefinder. As for Christmas, I always buy him clothes (boring, I know). I also framed some of our recent hunting photos for him, and bought him some ice fishing stuff. In his stocking, I did candy and an axe gift set (deodorant, shampoo, gel....). Maybe you could do a garden themed stocking, fill it with seeds, little shovel and trowel. And if all else fails, gift cards. They are the best way to go with hard to buy people.

Nothing =). We are not really big on the whole gifting thing. My hubby was one who never wanted anything and does not believe that I don't want anything either. Year after year he finds out what I need and goes out and buys a pricier version of it and year after year I return in and purchase the dirt cheap version. (Don't worry, we are too practical for feelings LOL He was not hurt) So this year it was pretty clear we are getting wonderful nothings and we are so fine with that.

It is actually rubbing off on our 6 year old. She does not want to make a list because she does not really want or need anything lol. SO this year were are focusing on the less fortunate and since she still believes in Santa, I got her a snugli from him and a flik flak watch from Mom and Dad.

Oooops this thread is supposed to be about husbands. Sorry LOL.
