I am over 40 and feeling SO restless. I have a teaching degree but am not really interested in teaching. I have 3 kiddos ...2 in school and one in preschool only 3 days a week. So, esentially, I have 12 hours a week ..ALONE. I really want to do something at home...online or whatever. But, what and how? I just don't want to have this identity of just being a mom...it is not enough. I don't want to hit 50 and feel as if I have done nothing and accomplished nothing...except cleaning floors, cleaning bathrooms, picking up clothes...is there more?????????

Hi there. Well I've worked at home on the same business for nearly 8 years and have earned $315,583.03 without selling a single product. All I do is set up accounts from my home with my two kids in the next room, often THIS room. Glad to help. email me at ____@____.com for my business link because i don't think i'm allowed to post it here.

Go back to school. You can decide what you want to be when your kids are all grown and have an accomplishment at the same time.

child care and school are two things but the 12 hours alone if you could manage it you could also do part time sample jobs outside the home.

Join up with some of the content writing sights on the web that cost nothing to join and really dig into the forums and information the other writers have shared so you can learn how to do it.

Like reading and writing? It won't pay you anything but it sounds like you are looking for a "title" or purpose....join some book review sights. Perks: Plenty of reading material, published reviews, and being able to tell people you review books (or fancy it up) and most people don't realize how easy it is.

Start a blog. Blog about your kids, your husband, your search for fulfillment..whatever you want. Look at the movie Julie & Julia for how big a blog can grow if you dedicate yourself to it.

Start a home class for after school. There are a couple of things offered here after school in mom's homes like drama and art classes.

You may not think much of it, but I'm a nursing professional and working the business since I have no time for my children. I'm able to schedule my presentations around them during the weekend. My cousin began the business as well with 6 children and she worked as a real estate agent....after 5 months of dedication she was able to quit and now works maybe 4 hours per week, making much more than I do as a nurse! Just take a look if you want. www.arbonne.com and the opportunity message. You can contact us if you have questions ____@____.com Good luck!

Hi J B.

I am over 40 myself and home with my kids now full-time. I was feeling restless for awhile like you. I actually had a very successful business as a CPA but it was pulling so much time away from my family. I now work from home for a health and wellness company and I love it. It's a business I can do with my kids by my side and schedule it around all of there activities. Our company has been around for 25 years and specializing in helping families get healthy but also helping families get financially healthy too. I'd love to share with you what I do. You can go to http://www.MomsHelpingOthers.com or send me a personal message. I'd love to call and just share some free information with you.

Looking forward to hearing from you and I hope you have a GREAT day!!

L.
