If anyone would like to share their experience with me either on here or email ____@____.com deliver out of Hinsdale?? How is the hospital? Do you labor in one room and recover in another?? And does baby room in the WHOLE time or does baby go to the nursery for a while after birth? And are the Dr and Midwives really nice and understanding?? Any experience good or bad please!!! If you are able to get in with this practice, I'd recommend it highly. Nothing but good experiences with the midwives, nurses, and the times I've seen a doctor, that's been great too. I used the midwives, and loved them. I had a miscarriage with my first pregnancy, and I felt they were really caring and helpful during that painful time. Hinsdale Hospital was wonderful too. I felt particularly supported as far as breastfeeding went; the lactation specialists are, in general, great. And I went to the Breastfeeding Support group at HH every week the 2 months after my daughter was born, and became really great friends with several women I met there.

The Midwives and nurses are awesome. I went to them for my second pregnancy, and what a difference! I have nthing but great things to say about them. I also saw Dr. Cannon, and she was great.

Hinsdale was also wonderful. I deliverd almost 2 months early, so I spent a lot of time in there NICU, and had such a positive experience. The nurses always took there time to explain everything, and the lactation consultants were a lifesaver for me.

I would recommend them to anyone.

My daughter was delivered by Dr. Murrey, and I will be having my second in late September through the same practice. I have seen all 4 female doctors, and are very comfortable with any of the physicians delivering my child. They are all very bedside friendly and helpful with any questions you may have. Adventist Hinsdale Hospital is a great facility too! The RN's and lactation consultants on the OB unit are great!

I love them! Dr. Murray delivered my son and will be delivering my next one coming this October. Hinsdale hospital is wonderful. The nurses and care was PERFECT! You labor in one room and then right after baby is born, you and baby are wheeled to your other room. I had my son the whole time after he was born, for a few hours, so I could nurse him and get to know him...Then they take him so you can eat, shower, or if they have to do the hearing tests and stuff like that. My family doctor was there that morning also (Family Practice, Oak Brook off of Elm Street).
The midwives are also really understanding at this office, you have 4 doctors and 2 midwives to choose from, I think you will really find at least a couple of women you feel at ease with. Give the office a call, because in 2005 they had to stop seeing new clients. Things may be different now, so give them a gall 630-654-baby. Best of LUCK!!
