WELCOME! Go to www.myclearwater.com then select parks and recreation. Under that heading you can find lots of stuff for your boys. The long center is a recreation center that has everything. Pool, basketball, soccer, football, etc. The price is $95.00 a year but the wierd thing is they refund 85.00 so it works out to 10.00 a year per child. It is called a play pass.

There could be other recreation centers closer to your home.

The long center has one of the best swim teams in the U.S.

Also go to your local library for more information.

Hi. I live right around the corner from you. At Alt19 & Curlew. I have live here for 6 years. I have 3 boys under 3 1/2. My pediatrician is N Pinellas Childrens Med Center in East Lake (near Tampa rd & McMullen Booth road). About a 10 minute drive from you. I go to Dr. Weber. Also, they have an office on US19 between Curlew & Tampa Rd (Outback Steakhouse shopping center).

As far as recreation, there's a brand new YMCA at Nebraska & 16th street. I think $60/month for the whole family. Really nice facility.

Welcome!! I would avoid Dunedin schools if you can. I have neices and a nephew who attend as well as a step-daughter. I have found many times that the level of caring about the child's actual degree of learning is sub-standard. My daughter goes to school in Palm Harbor as does my step-son and I love their schools. I would opt for the school in Tarpon if it were me.
I can also recommend a great pediatric practice. North Pinellas Children's Medical Center in Palm Harbor has great docs as well as very convenient office hours (including Sat and Sun).

If you are looking for a great pediatrician I would reccommend Suncoast Pediatrics - in particular Dr Cano - he is great. The Nurses there are great as well and you can always get an appointment the same day you call if your child is sick. They work on Saturdays as well. They are a bit far for you since they are in Largo. If that is too far maybe you can call them and they can reccomend another pediatrician closer to you.Another thing you could do is call Morton Plant Hospital and get referrals for doctors through them.

Out of the choices of Dunedin, tarpon or Clearwater, I'd choose Dunedin personally. I went there actually (hehe) and it was a great school ... and even better now sicne they rebuild a brand new building in the last year or so! Tarpon might be closer to you though. Is Palm Harbor not an option? That is a nice school too!
