I use shutterfly.com. You can also order prints and gifts from here. However, I don't believe you can add videos.

I use GoDaddy.com for my beach house website and you may want to look into it. I also use Pbase.com to host my photography gallery, but don't think video upload is possible there...

I use www.dropshots.com. It won't provide you a customizable website but it's free and will display pictures and videos. I absolutely love it. Uploading is extremely easy and my family and friends can check in anytime they want to see what's new. You can look at mine if you want. www.dropshots.com/langfordcr.

I use www.myfamily.com It does cost a little money each year. But the thing I like about it, is that it's EASY and you must invite people. Then, only the people you invite can see your kid's photos and personal info. You can create a family tree on there too. All kinds of options.

I use www.spaces.live.com and really like it a lot. You can create different albums, blogs, etc. It is very easy to use and free!

Go to www.blogger.com and you can build your own family website for free. I created one for my family and home business and its really great. My friends can go on there and see what is new with us and I can refer people to my home daycare website so they can see pictures of my home, kids I watch, play area etc. to see if it is something they are interested in doing. Use www.rocketlife.com

This is amazing. You can build your own website (i.e. www.T..rocketlife.com) and you can make "rocket shows" which you can email all of your friends and family. Rocket Shows can be set to music and motion. You can create these great little photo books. Not the type that everyone is doing. These are soooooo cute and very affordable. Perfect for grandma's purse. I have several and they are great!!!!! Rocketlife will also put all your pics on DVD or CD. You pics will be set to music and motion and you get a professional case and labels. When you order one of those, you get a free booklet. The rocket shows and the family website are free. This is so much fun. At least try it.

Couple of routes to take, you can store photos & videos for free at places like www.photobucket.com, www.myphotoalbum.com, etc. Family members can also buy prints from there as well. You can start a blog for free at blogger.com and add links to the pictures on the myPhotoAlbum site as well as posting pictures to the blog. It's a good way to journal what's been going on without all the programming of a website and it won't cost you any money.

If you just really want a more all in one website, I would look at www.GoDaddy.com or www.Webhost4life.com and then you could use one of the added applications that they have on the site like www.communityserver.org or www.dotnetnuke.com where you can have your website already built without knowing any HTML. This will cost you anywhere from $60 to $120/year depending on what kind of plan you sign up for. Those two portals will allow you to upload photos, have a forum, blog, etc. as well as keep track of who's signed up and be able to email them through the website with the latest family news.
