Waterproof Mascara
I am looking for the best mascara out there. I would like it to be waterproof since it's summertime now. I've tried so many different kinds and it's starting to get pricey...lol! I want something that lenghtens and thickens, but goes on smoothly and does not clump. By the way, I do not like the rubber brushes or the comb brushes. Any suggestions would be great! (By the way, I do not want anything that I would have to order...I'm looking for something I can either buy at the drugstore, Ulta, or a departmant store.) Thanks!

It's a bit spendy, but I swear by Lancome's Defincils Waterproof mascara. It's taken me through my wedding day, my best friends wedding day, and several other very "cryable" events without a drip!
Can get it at Sephora for about $23. Or at a Lancome Counter when they are having a free gift and reap the bonus.

I second the ones who say Almay One Coat, except to say that I've never tried the waterproof - unless you swim a lot and don't want to stop to take it off, you don't need really waterproof just because it's summer. I do a lot of outdoor activities, travel etc. in hot summer, and the (non-waterproof) Almay never comes off until I want it to. I don't even use soap - just hot water, out of the tap, will take it off. (Obviously not hot enough to hurt yourself, and you don't put it on your eyes, just the lashes. I follow up with non-alcohol toner on my entire face with special attention to the eyes.) Both easily obtainable drugstore products!

Hey A.,
I have had great success with Loreal Voluminous mascara. Though, I have never tried the waterproof, I would imagine it would give you the same results as the regular. You can get it on sale for like $4/$5 but even if it isn't on sale I believe it is no more than $7. Ulta has a sale right now when you buy Loreal mascara($6.89) you get a free Loreal liquid eye liner. Hope this helps...good luck!!

Almay is great. It's hypo allergetic, goes on smooth & you can buy it anywhere.

Dior "Diorshow" waterproof mascara is incredible or Chanel Inimitable is great too. These are the only two mascara's I swear by. They make your eyes look fabulous!

I swear by L'Oreal Voluminous. Just watch out when buying - there are both a straight and a curved brush. I don't care for the curved one. I use both the waterproof and the regular depending upon what I need it for. It really lengthens, doesn't clump and is pretty easy to remove.

I love great lash and basically anything by maybelline for mascara. I find the rounded brush works better to extend the length of my lashes.
