I was just wondering if anyone knew how to clean a washer...lol. That just looks funny to ask, but yeah I wanted to see if there were any way to somehow clean it....

What can I do next?

Hi,
Try setting it on the hottest, largest setting and putting a cup of bleach and a regular load amount of detergent and let it run with nothing in it. Good luck!

Hi J.,

I do the same as Alana auggested, it is what my mom taught me. After the cycle is complete, I wipe down the interior with a dry cloth. I wipe the outside down with an all-purpose cleaner.

My husband teases me that washers are self cleaning, but I tell him just because you use soap every day in the shower doesn't mean you don't clean your bathtub, right!?!? =)~

Wow, guess I'm not that thorough...in 20 years of marriage, I've never even considered cleaning my washer, ha. Kudos to you. Wanna clean my house?

It's funny how I have never seen my mother ever clean her washer, but with having a front loader you really need to. I have been watching a show called "How clean is your house" and let me tell you I'm so amazed at how people can live like that!! It's fun to watch!

This is what I have been doing; use the hottest cycle and put in 1 cup of white vinager, run a cycle. It cleans and with hard water here it helps keep the water lines clean too.
Hope that helps. :-)
