Want to Start Adult Spanish Conversation Group

Hi--I'm interested in starting a Spanish conversation group--perhaps we could meet for coffee once a week or once every other week, to meet for coffee and speak in Spanish, somewhere on the Northwest side of Chicago. I studied Spanish for years, and hope to get back to being more conversational. It would be great to have a mix of native spanish speakers and those learned. For me, I'm thinking after I drop my 7 year old off at school, but once we got a group together, if it was easier to plan with kids, that's okay too.

Where abouts in the Northwest Area are you talking about. I would be interested but It's important to me to where so that I can juggle that in as well as my full time job and 3 kids. I am very fluent in Spanish but I need a tune up. lol.

I also would like to join i took a spanish class a few semsters ago and really didnt get the swing of it because i hav noone to talk to. But i wanted to learn as it would help me in my nursing career

I would be interested, I am a native spanish speaker and i think is great that other nationalities want to learn spanish i want to contribute to that desire. I live in the northside of the city, just let me know the place and time and i will be there.

Sounds great. I speak Spanish, but not very properly, it would be great to practice as well as receive some friendly critiques. I'm curious as to where on the NW side you are located. I'm near Irving & Wetern. Please keep me posted.

I think that is a great idea!! I have wanted to learn Spanish for a long time. I know a lot of words, but have a hard time putting it all together. If you have others interested, I am in. Let me know.
