Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone has some ideas on where we should go for vacation this year. Our daughter is 22 months old and doesn't travel extremely well. (we are thinking around 3 or 4 hours in the car max!) We are located just north of Albany, NY so we are thinking maybe CT, MA, VT or other surrounding areas. I appreciate any and all ideas! Thank you

So What Happened?

Thank you Sam and Carrie for responding to my request! We decided to book our vacation to Old Orchard Beach, ME. It is 4 hours away and promises lots to do. Thanks again!

We used to go to Wells, Maine. It's a hike, but we always had a great time.

I see that you have posted that you have already booked your vacation so next time consider the Salem, Mass. area. I have friends who live there and we love to go visit them every summer, there are a lot of nice beaches, things to do, and you can take the "T" into Boston for a day or half day. We always love it!

How about Hampton Beach, NH?

The Wildwood NJ area is great for families with rides, beautiful beaches and the boardwalk to bike or walk with your daughter. We are taking our 3 toddlers there on july 15th for a week of family fun. Very family friendly. My one piece of advice is to book an effiency or room with a kitchen to make breakfast/lunch or snack to avoid the meltdowns in restaurants.
