I would take her to a specialist/Urologist. This does not seem like a normal case of infections, especially when Antibiotics are now resistant.

Get another opinion. Find out if she has diabetes or a kidney issue or what else might be causing these. Not to alarm you, but my friend just told me about a little girl (her friend's child) who died of a UTI that went septic. This is not something to mess with.

Baby probiotics can't hurt. Antibiotics are destroying the little cilia hairs inside her ears and will cause vestibular problems (balance/coordination). Watch her development very closely and maybe put her in OT or OT as a preventative because babies with vestibular issues will tend to skip crawling or not do it long enough (4-6 months). Babies must crawl to integrate primitive reflexes and get the brain hooked up and ready to learn for school later on. Sorry to go on but many rounds of antibiotics destroy the gut (the 2nd brain) and auditory processing. Not sure what to tell you about UTI's though...that's not my specialty.

Have you brought her to a pediatric urologist? If not, call your local children's hospital or ask your ped for a referral.

If you are following all the 'girl' rules to prevent UTI.....then it's time to start ruling out other problems as well, you know?

Hope she's better soon!

my lil girls had 3 or so, been on several antibiotics but has not become resistant to them. we have to catheterize tho because she doesnt empty her bladder completely which is the cause of her UTI's. you are not alone! do take her to a pediatric urologist and nephrologist, if you already haven't, but i'm going to ssume since you've had vcug done that you've already seen one. Give her probiotics to balance out her gut flora as antibiotics can cause harm to her gut. also make sure you change her often so she stays dry, wipe front to back, try not to use anything scented in or near her vagi, and limit soap use down there as well. hope this helps a little.
