Ulcer on Inside Lip?

This morning my daughter pulled her lip down and said it hurt. Sure enough, she had a tiny ulcer on the inside. Then, when I picked her up from school she said "look at this" and pulled her lip down. This time she had several teeny bumps on the inside of her lip. Any ideas of what this could be?

Kinda sounds like a canker sore? But without seeing it myself, I am not sure?
Maybe do some Google-ing and try to find a picture that matches?

They sound like canker sores to me too. I used to get them ALL the time and they are painful too. I stopped using toothpaste with Sodium Lauryl Sulfate which is known to cause them but is in the ingredients of most popular toothpaste brands (go figure!). I also swish my mouth with hydrogen peroxide before bed every night (which helps prevent them and helps the sores go away faster). Yes, citrus juices tend to not help either. No fun...good luck!

Sounds like cancker sores use maalox or listerine with a qtip or you can use alum (it is found in the spice aisle). Of the 3 maalox doesn't burn but can take longer to heal. Hope this helps.

I get them before I get sick. They are probably canker sores. stay away from citris juices and fruits like orange juice. etc.
