Transition from High Chair to Chair and Table

our soon to be 18-month old son makes a huge fuss everytime we try and put him in his highchair to eat at home. At daycare, he sits in a transition chair at the table. We are thinking that he is just ready to be done with the highchair and wants to do at home what he does at daycare. Does anyone have any suggestions as to a make/brand of chair & table for him - or is it best just to get a booster seat?

We went straight from the high chair to a booster chair that buckles, and had no problems. In fact, we're thinking of transitioning our 9 month old in the next 3 months or so, once he can feed himself more! We have a Safety 1st chair that folds down and is portable, which we love. It's nice to be able to take it with you.
