Thinking of Changing Pediatricians, Looking for Good One in Temecula/Murrieta.

Dr. Grant!!! She is wonderful! I don't have her number handy - I'll search for it before I'm done here. A little background about me... my kids have been seen Dr. Jim at Sears Pediatrics since birth (for my son, 6mos for my daughter). I live in Wildomar and was more than willing to do the drive over the Ortega for the great service I was getting. However, I needed to see a Dr. locally in a pinch and 3 of my friends go to Dr. Grant so I gave her a shot. I had to wait a bit to see her (about an hour) I think it's because she really takes her time with patients, the wait was so worth it. I think we also got in on the morning we called, so maybe they were squeezing us in. Anyway, she was wonderful and she is great with kids. Her info is:

I've also seen Dr. Kathleen Hurwitz. I hear just as much bad about her as good. My take is she knows her stuff, but she is very busy. Personally, I liked her and she "fixed" my daughter (-: But, I'll be taking my kids to Dr. Grant for all future medical visits.

Pediatric Partners in Temcula (on Jefferson Ave) take Medical, and have so many doctors in the office that you are bound to find one that you really like - and if your primary doctor is on vacation there is always another one available to see your child.

My daughter sees Kathleen Hurwutz, too, and we are so pleased with her. She is very professional and it's evident that she is an extremely knowledgable doctor. She's always available via her pager for emergencies, and her staff is wonderful. Sounds like you might also like her office set up, too...She now has 2 entrances...one for routine physicals and well-child check-ups, and a separate room/entrance for sick children. I would highly recommend her!

I highly recommend Dr Kathleen Hurwitz in Murrieta, she is a caring physician and cares for your children well being, I like that she is very agressive in her treatments and doesn't wait until is too late!...I had a bad experience with ANOTHER local Dr. where she misdiagnosed my son and he almost die, he was rushed from the hospital in a helicopter and spent 7 days in intensive care during the holidays...not a good experience.

After this I wanted to find a good Dr that wouldn't take chances with the health of my kids...A friend of mine recommended Dr. Hurwitz and I love her from the first day I took my son for a follow up after the ICU incident...since then (3 years ago) as soon as she know he is not feeling good she takes action right away to get him well!

Dr. Hurwitz always answers her phone and takes care of your emergencies without hesitation. My son has been very sick and she has talked to me over the phone and had me take him to the emergency room where they were already waiting for him, she had called them and told them to take care of him as soon as we got there...she even told them what they needed to do!...it was amazing to me since I know the waiting in the ER can be 3-4 hrs! She is the best! and her office people are great too.

Dr.Hurwitz is an angel sent from heaven for kids ! Yes, she is busy, but she is just awesome and her Physician Assistant is great also. I have had to call once about my infant daughter who got a fever over the weekend and she answered the phone. She and her staff are great and will always work you in. I used to take my oldest son to Dr. Du, and she was great also, but she started taking only a couple insurances at the time. She might have started taking more again. Good Luck !

I go to Dr. Kathleen Hurwitz with my 4 boys as well. While it's true that she's very busy, she will listen to you and answer all the questions you have. I got used to bring a list with all my questions to any appointment I have. She's wonderful and I'm happy that we found her when we moved here three years ago.

She will return your phone calls 24/7. We had to call her on weekends (why do kids always get sick on weekends?) and once at 2 am!

We go to Dr, Kathleen Hurwitz in Murrieta and we love her, most of my friends that live in Temecula and Murrieta go to her as well!! I can not say enough good things about her! Her very first priority is her patients! She will answer your phone call at any time of the night!! I have called her in the middle of the night because I was concerned about my son and she answered her phone!! If your child is sick they will make sure u get in that same day!! When she sees your child you her FULL attention is on your child!!! Another nice thing about her office is that there is a sick room for all the sick kids and the well room for the kids with there regular check ups!!
