Hi everyone! I have not bought a swim suit since before I had my son and this summer I really need a nice swimsuit that I will feel comfortable in. I wear a size 12 to 14 and its really hard to find one to fit my body just right. Where do you reccommend that I go to buy a new swimsuit? Any suggestions would be great!

Try Land's End website. They make great suits with shorts or skirted that look great and don't make you feel all exposed. I have several friends who wear them and love them.

I have to second the previous response about Lands End. They have a virtual model on-line that can really help you visualize what the suit will look like on you. I've bought several suits from there and I've yet to be displeased.

Good Luck!

You might want to call and get a LandsEnd Catalog. They have the most flattering bathing suits for any body type. They are more expensive but they really do last. Someone always comments whenever I wear any of mine about how they fit. If it doesn't fit, which mine never haven't...I'm pretty sure you can return them at Sears or someplace that carries the brand.

Lands End! I would order it on line. If you use their meausurement system they are extremely accurate and have a great return policy. You can also find them at Sears but the selection is bigger online. I wear a size 14 and I love that you can buy seperate top and bottoms. They are not cheap, but I am still wearing mine from there from 4 years ago!

Hi A. -

I agree that Land's End's suits are great, but I had a hard time finding the right one. I like to be able to try and touch my bathing suits beofre ordering them. They do have an easy enough return policy, but it was jsut one more hassle. You might want to try "Just Add Water" at Grapeving Mills. Right after my first son was born, I went there, still with my pregnancy weight, and the young girl working there was able to point out some great fitting suits. They are not the cheapest in the world, but I felt like I looked good in the suits.

Good luck to you!

I love Dillard's they have a great selection of mix and match pieces. They have different cut pieces and show you the piece to cover up the body parts you want to cover up and what pieces to get to flatter parts that you want to show off. Plus they also have some really cute 1 piece suits.

I was going to respond with Lands End and then laughed when I saw all of the other Lands End responses. I will add that after I had my kids and was afraid to return to the swimsuit, I took was on their website and still couldn't quite commit. I ended up either chatting with them online or talking to them on the phone and they helped me decide on the right suit based on my measurements. I think I still wore shorts over it, but at least I felt OK putting it on!!
