So summer in coming up and I am trying to find some form of childcare for my children. I wouldnt be taking them everyday and my husband is home all day BUT he works crazy hours so he needs time to sleep at home. My work schedule is ever changing so I need to find some form of childcare that will be able to watch the kids until 5 pm on some days that I work. Usually on weekdays I work in the afternoon which would be days that the kids would not need to go or would only need to go for a couple of hours. Any suggestions on affordable Good places? I live in the North Dallas area around Plano, Carrollton/Farmers Branch area. I am hesitant to go for the at home daycare thing but if someone is GREAT and has references I will look into it more. Any suggestions on how to go about this?

What can I do next?

You might also want to check out Adventure Playcare. They hve great reviews and even watch your kids into the evening. I know there is one location at Preston and Forest, but believe they have a few other locations, too. You can google Adventure Playcare.

I don't know of anyone personally, but you might check this...

Discover and Share in Coppell on MacArthur and Beltline(5mins from George Bush and I-35)might be a place to check out. Their daily rate used to be pretty good. I used them full time when my son was younger and last summer had to use them for a week. They have a website. Just google Discover and Share. I know they have different owners than when I used them last, but I understand they have kept things pretty much the same.
