Substitute Heavy Cream with Cream Cheese?

I'm making mini pot pies and the recipe I've always used calls for a bit (3 tablespoons) of heavy cream. I usually just substitute milk. Well, my husband drank all the milk last night. I am stuck at home waiting for a plant shipment I have to be here for. Think I could substitute cream cheese? It's the only other dairy item I have!

What can I do next?

I've made a cream of potato soup with cream cheese before instead of heavy cream, and it was delicious!

Well in a pot pie yes, but some things I would hesitate. Do you have a can of milk in the pantry? You could use one of those too if you have one. Hope it tastes yummy!!!
