Spacesaver High Chair

We are about to buy a high chair for our baby and I was wondering if anyone has used a space saver high chair. I just saw a Fisher Price one in the Parenting magazine. Did you like it? Can you recommend a good one? Pros and Cons? We have a high kitchen table so it seems like a good idea but just wanted some feed back. Thanks!!

What can I do next?

I used spacesavers with both my boys. I loved the idea of them hooking to the chairs and when needed they store in a closet nicely if you neeed more room. I bought the Safety First Brand; they are around 25.00. Very reasonable, but when they drop food the crevices are hard to get to when they spill stuff but other that that they are lightweight and easy to tilt back, adjust and etc......

Good & Bad: We like the chair, but not the tray, which forces the child to sit back in the chair. Our daughter likes to sit straight up. The tray also has too much wiggle in it, so if it isn't on in the child tightly, it tends to droop/wiggle. SO, we don't use the tray at all and slide the chair up under the kitchen table and my daughter LOVES IT!!!

I absolutely loved my space saver. My son is 4 years old and we still use it as a booster seat for him. He is a little short so that is why we still have to use it. Just a little pointer. Make sure you take it out of the chair every once in awhile because the chair does get very dirty.

We have one for our daughter and it grows with your child. We love ours. Our main consideration when we bought this was that the way my kitchen and breakfast nook is set up I really didn't have anywhere out of the way to keep it so by attaching it to a chair at the table it is out of the way and works just like a regular high chair. I would recommend it. I ordered mine through walmart.com and had it shipped to the walmart closest to me so it was easy to get and affordable.

I've used only a spacesaver high chair with my baby and have been very pleased. They strap securely to whatever chair you use them in. I've never had any safety issues and they are easy to take with you if you need to go to someones house or even a restaurant.

We bought our son one and it is to die for. He is only 8 months old but we have used it everyday since he was 4 months old without any problems.

I love it b/c you don't have to worry about fitting another chair around the table. It is also height adjustable and that is a very nice feature. Just be sure you put a towel down under the seat so you don't stain the fabric on your chair.

I have the First Years brand and we love it. It is easy to use and our son likes being at the table with us.

I have that high chair. Its ok. My only problem with it is that my table and chairs are a normal height and I have to sit down to feed her. Since you said that yours is higher then you would probably like it. It is handy not to have a separate chair.
