Hello...

Does anyone know how to get rid of the annoying residue left on clothes when the size sticker is removed. Everyone at work knew I got new pants because you could still see the outline of the size sticker!

Thanks!

If you've tried the advise of other posts and it is still there - return the item, even if it has been laundered a few times. It's a very valid reason for a return. I've had this happen. Make sure the sticker will remove in the store without residual adhesive left of clothes.

Good luck.

Try taking a small bowl of vinegar & microwaving it until it's really hot. Then dip a toothbrush in the vinegar and scrub away. This is how I was able to get chewing gum off of my daughter's dress, so I'm guessing it will work for you in this case! It worked the best when the vinegar was really hot, so you may have to reheat it a few times. Of course you'll have to wash the pants to get the vinegar smell out, but it should work just fine. Good luck!

Rubbing alcohol usually works. But you need to use a lint free cloth or you end up with residue from the cloth. Also, wash the area after with hot water before laundering as usual.

I've never tried this, but I have heard of putting Goo be Gone on the residue to remove it.
