Seeking Welfare-to-work Type of Place to Donate Business Clothes

I just cleaned out my closet and instead of donating the clothes to the Salvation Army, I'd like to donate them (since most of them are primarily "business" type clothes) to a welfare-to-work type program where moms trying to get their lives together can be given these clothes in their employment pursuits. Does anyone know of a place like this in the Keller area? Thanks in advance!

What can I do next?

The Texas WorkForce manages the actual Welfare to Work program, and you can contact your local office about donating and also suggestions of other locations. Before my son's birth I was employed at the Decatur location, and I know they always need things like that.

I know that women's shelters for battered women and children usually are desperate for this type of thing, as they usually are also trying to help the women get jobs. I'm sure a google search or look in the phone book may steer you in the right direction.

There is a place in Dallas that takes women off the street, gives them the tools to be able to get a job and then takes them to a wardrobe closet to choos such clothing before actually going on the interview. I can't think of the name but it is similar to Rags to Riches. I tried to google it, but found nothing. I just thought maybe someone else reading this may know of it. I know that it is somewhere near Parkland Hospital. Good luck.

I'd definitely check out the women's sheters in the area. Second Glance Resale at the corner of Mid-Cities Blvd. & Rufe Snow in NRH helps an area shelter w/ their proceeds & may be able to give you some direction.
