Seeking Other Older/single/working Moms in the Woodlands, TX Area

Hello L., I totally can relate about the energy and vibe of most mother's group. I really feel they are primarily targeting the married mom's out there which is fine but we need something for us single working moms. I live in Tomball which is only about 15-20 minutes from you so if you want to start up a group or maybe have some coffee sometime I would be happy to meet with you. I have two kids that are older so sorry I dont have anyone your 2.5 year old daughter can play with but maybe my daughter can babysit for you sometime. My kids are 11 (son) and 15 (daughter).

a little boy who will be turnning 3 years old
on feb.15.I also have twin boys who are 21 years old and
out on there own.I work a fulltime job as a receptionist
at a vet clinic.Horses are my passion,and I have
two at the present time.I also rehab wildlife in

I'm A.. I am 30 something however, have often felt the same way about some of the posts. Not that I do not enjoy this site, I do! I'm in The Woodlands area, I have 3 creative children, I'm single and I do work. I have a 12 year old girl, 11 year old boy and 4 year old girl. I work full time, have a part time business, and do classes online. I am busy but still have time to maintain relationships with friends. I moved from Houston to The Woodlands almost 2 years ago, but have made few connections out here. So, just know you are not alone. I have often felt that single mothering in The Woodlands is a definate "outsiders" thing to do. Especially a working, single mother. I wish there were some way to connect.

I don't exactly meet your criteria as written, but still thought I'd write. I'm a soon-to-be 41 year old with a soon-to-be 4 year old who is at the moment married, but in the near future will be finding herself "unmarried". I don't know how you single moms do it, but as I'm about to become one in the near future, I would love to learn from a pro. :-) Anyway, I'm not quite 45, my child is not quite 2 1/5, I'm not quite single, and I'm not quite in the Woodlands, but if you don't have any other bites on your invitation, let me know!
