Seeking Other Moms to Be 'Diet Buddy' With

I was hesitant about getting on the scale, but I did and since I stopped nursing my son 5 months ago, I put on more weight. Before I got pregnant, I went to Jenny Craig and lost 38 lbs. and was in a size 8 pant (I would love to be smaller but I was happy with that). Jenny worked for me because since I was paying for it, I had to make it work for me (that program is expensive!). And having someone hold me accountable was key. Yeah, I could have my husband be my new 'counselor', but it's not the same. What I was hoping to do is find some other ladies who also needed a buddy to help them, hold them accountable, cheer us on, share recipes and weight loss help/tips, etc... We don't need to meet or get together, this is something that we can do via email. Like every Monday, Friday, whatever we do a regular check in. Maybe if enough want to do it we can put it together as a group... discreet, free, and you don't have to go anywhere to do it. Anyone seriously interested?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Yay, getting some ladies interested! Once I see who responds, I'll get in contact with everyone and we'll do a group email and get to know each other and what is holding us back and we'll start from there.

I would be totally interested.
My son is 10 1/2 months. I also have a 10 year old daughter. I have always had a weight issue. I gained alittle over 70lbs with my son. I did lose quit a bit of it but am having a devil of a time with the last 20lbs.
I thought about going back to weight watchers but can't seem to make the time.
What were you thinking or have in mind?
thanks

I'd be interested too. I've just recently found out that my cholesteral is high and have been trying diet and excersize first. I've lost about 10 lbs, but have at least another 10 to go. Keep me posted

I know you've already gotten a lot of responses, but if you are still adding more to the team I'd love to join you all on your journey. I've got about 21 more lbs to lose and having some support could really help. :)

Thanks,
M.
