Seeking Location for Small Casual Holiday Dinner Party in Flower Mound Area.

We are looking for a location to hold a small casual dinner party for about 30 adults and 12 kids to celebrate the holidays. The dinner party is for my husband's employees, and our budget is $500. We would prefer to hold it in the Flower Mound area, but are open to other areas since the employees live in various areas of the Metroplex. Since we want to include kids (and have a small budget), we likely will need to stay away from the fancy restaurants. We are targeting December 30, so it's not a peak night. Hopefully that will help in our search. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

So What Happened?™

Thanks to all of you for the great suggestions for a small company dinner party in the Flower Mound area. With a small budget, we are challenged, but you all had some really good ideas. We are still talking with management at some of the areas to determine what we might be able to work out. Thank you so much for taking the time to send your ideas. Merry Christmas to all of you!!

You might consider Cafe Italia in Grapevine. There are two locations -- an older one near downtown Grapevine, and a brand new location near Grapevine Stadium. The new location has a semi-private room that would be perfect. The food is great, and you can get a variety of Italian dishes (which come with salad and bread) for under $10.00. Best of all -- it's BYOB -- so you can bring in all the wine you want, and they will provide the wine glasses. We've done corporate dinners there and everyone loved it. Tell them S. referred you.

Both Bari's and Salerno's are great and located realatively close to one another! Good luck to you!

Try Village grill in Highland village (near Kroger on 407). They have the best food and also are really nice. they have pretty much everything on the menu (italian, mexican, burgers, salads, kids meals) Ive heard a couple people have used their location and loved it. They do buffets too and also have a separate room. Good luck!

Hello,

I can recomend Mimi's Cafe and Alforno's. Mimi's Cafe does have a beautiful room with a fireplace that they can reserve for you with no charge. They can also custimize a special menu for your party that will fit your budget. They also have a great varitey of food. Good Luck and Merry Christmas!

Try Salernos.... they have a separate dining room and they can make a menu to fit your budget.

Z's is good too but a bit more expensive, but great separate room too.

The only other thing I can think of is Little Pete's on the Lake.... they'd probably do something easy and cheap, but I think their group space is outside, don't know if they have heaters.

Do you live in the Flower Mound area because
they have a rec. center for activities/
parties. Their is also a new facility
Flower Mound Community Center. I hope
this helps you out and good luck.

You can cater in too.

Talk to Salerno's...they do a lot of group dinners in our area and they can do a buffet style meal or let you choose a dinner or two for your guest to choose from and keep you on budget. They have a nice atmosphere and an area they keep for parties that gives you an intimate atmosphere. Service is always good.

We had a party at the Italian restaurant in Parker Square (I forget the name but it is next to the Italian steak house) and it worked out really well. They are priced well for large groups/parties and will print menus for your guests or set up a buffet line. The people really nice and easy to work with.
