My daughter misses the cut-off for kindergarten by a couple months. (Her birthday is in October)I am looking for a place to have her party at that is parent friendly and I am only willing to spend $100.00 max. I will have 12 kids as well. I'm trying to get a jump start now. Any ideas would be great. PS. my place is not big enough!

K., If you are in the Olathe, Overland Park area I have a suggestion for you. My sons just attended a B-Day party on Sunday at a Great place. It is located in the First Family Church off 143rd just West of Metcalf. It is inside the church, but there is nothing religious in the actual party area. It's called the Party Barn and they have an indoor McDonalds type playland, only bigger. The theme of the playground is a tree house. I think my friend only paid $50. to rent the place, you provide all the snacks, etc. There is a separate place for refreshments with kid sized chairs and tables. My friend planned several games to play with the kiddos, but they were having so much fun on the playland that she just skipped them. I'm not sure what you were wanting as far as "parent friendly" but this place sure is kid friendly. The phone number for the church is ###-###-####.

Micheal's arts and craft stores offer parties, I had one for my daughters 5th b-day there. You can pick the craft from a list and that determines the price. We had 10 girls and the cost was around $60. I had to provide the cake and drinks.

Crayola Cafe in Crown Center. They have a private birthday party room for the children; some food packages too, but you can order from the menu. Reasonable prices.

What about Deanna Rose petting zoo? In October they will have the place decorated for fall and have extra activities going on. You would easily spend less than $100.00 there. It's in O.P. on Switzer and 137th.
