My husband and I just moved to the Warrington area and are in need of a good family physician. I had heard great things about Dr. Steven Carver in Doylestown, but he is not accepting new patients. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

So What Happened?

Thank you all for your responses. I am happy to report that I made appts. for both me and my husband at BuxMont Medical Associates. They were the clear favorite amongst all of the recommendations I received. Thanks again!

I HIGHLY recommend Buxmont Family Practice, which is located in Doylestown Hospital's Health & Wellness center on 611 in Warrington. We really love them, esp. Dr. Elisa Mandel and Dr. Melanie Toltzis - though all the docs in the practice are great. They are truly caring physicians who will take time with you and help get to the bottom of any problem. We still go there even though we moved 30 minutes away! Also the Health & Wellness center is a lovely facility. Buxmont's # is ###-###-####.

I live in Chalfont and go to this Doctor in the Highlands. His name is Dr. Matthews. He has one partner and her name is Dr. J. O'Connor. My friend recommended them to me and I do really like them.

They are associated with Grand View Hospital. Their phone number is ###-###-####.

Good Luck!

Jen

I would definitely have to recommend the Bux Mont Medical associates in the Health and Wellness center in Warrington. We just switched over to them and my husband has been seeing Dr. Wills, he says that she is great and is very thorough, listens to his concerns and is not at all likely your typical doctor of getting you in and out. I have my first appointment with them in September and for once, I don't mind going because of all the good reports I have heard!

I work as a nurse and have had to deal with a Dr. Condon (sp) he seems very nice. I have also had to do with a Dr Shaw and she too seems very nice. As a nurse I need to call these doctors for new orders. I believe how they treat nurses (some docs can be real @#$%#)is a good indicator of how they will be with a patient. So far the bedside manner from these two has been great. www.livegreeneasy.com
