Seeking Best Indoor Pool for Toddlers

Now that the outdoor pool season is coming to a close I am seeking a great indoor pool for my 17 month old daughter and I to enjoy. We are new to the area and live in Bloomington but I am willing to drive for a spectacular water experience. Does anyone know of a zero-depth indoor pool that would be fun for toddlers? We are not interested in the water slides yet, so really low key is best for us. Perhaps a park district pool, fitness center, or even a hotel pool. Please let me know if you have a favorite. Thanks moms!

We love the outdoor pool at the St. Louis Park Recreation Center. They have a large zero depth area AND a sandbox/ play area nearby, and there's a "5 and under" playtime on weekday mornings when the place is not overrun by older children. It will cost you a little $, but for itty bitty ones there's no fee. See http://www.stlouispark.org/aquatic_park.htm

Granted, it's not indoor, but for the next two weeks it's the best thing around.

Shoreview Community Center has a great zero entry depth indoor pool. Check out the website shoreviewcommunitycenter.com. It is pretty cheap too!

I was just at the Chaska Community Center yesterday and they have a splash pad. It is great, not too busy and lot's of shade. There are fountians to run through and a little slide and very shallow water, I had my 8 month old in there sitting. There is also an indoor portion with zero depth entry and another slide and a warm hot tub kids can go in. Google Chaska Community Center and check it out!

Double check this, but I've heard that Chaska has a relatively new community center with a great indoor pool - pretty sure I heard it is zero depth entry?? You may be able to find it online....
good luck!

Not sure where you are but we like the Lifetime Fitness indoor pools (and outdoor) We go to Savage or Lakeville and they are zero depth. Get a schedule though because the hours for family swim differ from day to day. It is a great pool during the day when other kids are in school though. Not crowded at all.
