Seeking Alternative Medicine Doctor

I am trying to find an alternative medicine dr. for my mom. She has been diagnosed with lupus, has high blood pressure and was told today her kidneys are at 42%. I am sure the lupus has something to do with the other issues, but I think the meds are causing even more damage to be done. She is afraid of the cost, so if there are any that take insurance that would be great. We live around Sterling Heights but I am willing to drive her.
Thanks!!

What can I do next?

Hi S.!
I know how trying medical issues can be! We have a wonderful Kinesiologist (Hollistic Doctor) that we visit regularly. I could go on & on with testimonials!
He also works as a chiropractor, so some of the charges are covered with Chiropractic coverage. The cost isn't too bad. I ahve been taking my kids there for years now, and we have no insurance.
Check him out!

Our family drs are in Sterling Heights-- Associates in Family Practice Drs. Oska and Bayer. They are not "alternative" but they are very good. It sounds to me, like you just have a bad dr.

My husband went to see Dr. Lispon for pain assocaited with prior heart surgeries. Bascially...it was too complicated and he was unable to help. He does run a nice practice...but to me, your Mom probably needs more than supplements and chiropratic adjustments to get better.

My mom sees
Dr. Ziobron

Bruce Twp, MI 48065

He is a D.O. and he is VERY good and my mom and dad swear by him. My mom has thyroid problems and my dad has heart problems. On their first visit he did a whole work up (blood, urine and hair samples) and found their vitamin and mineral deficiencies and was able to more clearly diagnose their problems and get them feeling better.

He takes insurance too!!!

Good luck!!!!

Check out the Authentic Living Center in Troy. It's at Maple and Coolidge. Tell them Dr. M. sent you.

In addition to an alternative or modern doctor (you should check around and talk with them thoroughly), Reflexology as well as Massage is highly effective for many Auto-immune dysfunctions. check around as many can offer some good deals for you. I have personally had awesome luck with my R.A. with Reflexology. Even more so than I did with Modern medicine~

What about cranial work or chiropractic?

There is Cranial Institute in Shelby Township. My chiro's name is Don Galovich and he's in Sterling Heights.
