Does anyone have a pediatric dentist that they absolutely love? I need to take my 2 year old for the first time and would like it to be a relatively pleasant experience. I can only go in the Lewisville, Flower Mound and Highland Village area. Thanks for your input!!!
I don't know if you would think that Coppell is too far, but I take all 3 of my kids to Melissa Rozas in Coppell. She is terrific and has a terrific staff. I first took my daughter when she was 2 and had a chipped tooth. -- Her number is ###-###-####, and she is located at 632 East Sandy Lake.
I just took my 2 yr old to the dentist for the first time a few weekends ago. We went to Dental Depot in Highland Village. They are located on 407 between 2499 & Morriss. They have the train in the front of their building. They were great with my son. They have a an elevated train set up that goes around the office so the kiddos can see it. The play area there is great too! The first visit is called a 'happy visit'. They show the kids how to brush teeth by using a large stuffed animal (with a set of teeth) and a large toothbrush. While the kids are standing up (if they do not want to get in the seat) the dentist gets the kids to open their mouth and stick out their tongue - which is when they count their teeth and see if there are any noticable issues. We saw Dr. Patel there and he was awesome! We plan to take my son back in 6 months for another check up so he can get used to going and maybe even sit in the chair this time. Dental Depot ###-###-####. My husband and I go there too - they have appointments available on Saturdays!

Dental Care 4 Kids in Flower Mound! Dr. Gonzales and Wickersham are so sweet! And their staff is so patient and gentle and seem to know when to take it easy and respect any fears the kids might have. My kids are always excited to go! It is fun for them!

at Dr. William Guthrie, DDS on FM 407 for an appt. I found them 18 years ago when my children were 3 and 7yrs old. He is very kind and my young girls were very comfortable with him. My oldest now drives from Ft. Worth to see her trusted dentist. But most of all he is honest. He doesn't try to sell services. He is there to serve you.
He is located behind McGee (Valero Gas station).
He has video games, coffee and tv's.
Dr. Jessica Bell at Pediatric Dental World in Highland Village. She's very reasonable about treatments, gives you your options, pros and cons and isn't judgmental if you choose to wait to get something done. The staff is also very friendly.
We are actually headed to Dr. Wickersham this morning. I took our son for his 2 year appt and this is the follow up (6 months later). He's excited that they are going to clean his teeth with purple 'stuff' :) and take pictures of his teeth.

We absolutely love the staff and Doctor Debra Duffy. My kids actually say, "Yeah!" when I tell them it's time to go to the dentist.
I've taken my 5yo daughter to Jessica Bell at Pediatric Dental World there in HV. VERY friendly staff that explain everything that they will be doing in great detail to the kids. They let the kids see and touch the instruments and make the visit very kid friendly.
We love Drs. Wickersham and Gonzales at Dental Care 4 Kids in Flower Mound. Our older son (9) has many teeth issues so we are in there often, and always have a great experience. Their whole office is friendly and set up with kids in mind, which works great for our 19 month old also.
Our dentist just referred us to a Dr. Sealy in Lewisville. Our 7 year old has two small cavities in his erupting 7 yr molars. My husband took our son last week and he absolutely loved their office and doesn't want to go back to the dentist he has seen for the last 5 years even to have a cleaning. He has never been afraid of going but had a lot of fun at Dr. Sealy's office. They are near the Omni American bank on Main St. across of Wal-mart & Sam's

We also love Dental Care 4 Kids (FM - across from Sprouts). They are a husband and wife team with young children of their own. They are great with my kids and the assistants are fabulous as well! Very much in tune with and sensitive to any fears and apprehension if present.
We have 5 children and we go to the Dental Depot in Flower Mound (close to Briar Hill Middle School). My kids love it there!
