Seeking a Good Baby Gate!
My 7 month old is moving moving moving! I need something to pen her in. I think we need a gate. I think she would be pissed if I put her in a playpen. New gates are so expensive! I was wondering if anyone had some to sell. I like the ones from Summer Surround Yard because they're so much taller but would be glad to buy the Superyard XL if someone's selling.
If people are getting dog gates, please say where you found them. I've been looking and haven't found anything other than the Summer Surround Yard which is pretty expensive. I don't want a playpen type thing, which is about all I've found on Craigslist. I want a fence which I can put around my area rug so she can crawl around and play and not feel like she's in a tiny enclosed space.
Thanks.

A.,
If you don't find what you want through the resale market, try the catalog One Step Ahead. They have great stuff at decent prices. I don't know what you're looking spend (as little as possible I'd imagine), but I've gotten some great safety items from them.
Good luck!

Freecycle! It's a yahoo group, the purpose is to keep items that are in good condition but no longer needed out of the landfills. You can post a WANTED ad, and look thru the OFFER ads as well. But you gotta be quick; stuff goes fast! Not sure where you are, but there is sgvfreecycle, arcadiafreecycle; just look for one in your area, and you can subscribe to more than one group. good luck!

Check out your local Children's Orchard or other local baby resale store. They sell gently used baby items. That's were I sold my play yard.
