Searching for a Midwife

I was wondering if any of you have used a midwife and what your experience was... Good and bad... Sorry this is in the child proofing section!! I tried to change it but it won't let me! Thanks!

What can I do next?

Alison Haasch is in Queen Creek and is amazing.

My mom is Sue DiSilvestro and she and Mary Henderson delivered my 6 year old.
I really think it is nice to have your midwife close to where you live. So Queen Creek
Alison Hasch is super sweet, Phoenix is Mary Henderson, Tempe I think Wendi cleckner.
Gilbert, / Mesa is near Sue Disilvestro. You can call her and get the numbers to ANY of the midwives ###-###-####.
I know she recommends going to Janice Bouve if you are high risk, want to be in a hospital, or some other complication arises.
Good Luck and God bless you and your pregnancy!

I had Janice Bovee for my first 3 children and then Ramona Joseph for my last (because Janice was out of town) they are both wonderful!! They are in Boojum obstetrics and they deliver at CHandler regional hospital and Mercy gilbert hospital. They are into the very natural but are also very supportive if you would like an epidural...they are open to your birth plan...but they dont deliver at home. Mercy gilbert hospital was wonderful when i had my last 2 babies there!! Good luck

Hi J., we just had our fourth child three weeks ago(this is our first at home birth). Sue Disilvestro was our Midwife, I interviewed 3 different licensed Midwives and found Sue to be the one! If you'd like to talk, please feel free. I found the labor portion so much less painful I think largely due to the fact that I felt very comfortable and relaxed. We were very confident in Sue's knowledge and experience. She reminded me of a good mother, there for you but not pushy :)
Take care,
S.

I have had two births with licensed midwives, and LOVE them! There's no going back once you've experienced great midwifery care. Midwives I recommend: Wendi Cleckner, Sue DiSilvestro, Sarah Blum-Sheller, Stephanie Soderblom; or for hospital midwives, Brittani Hamilton.
