Searching for a Good Realtor

We are in need of a good realtor and we don't even know where to begin. We've had our house on the market for a couple of months (for sale by owner) but we haven't gotten any intrest so far. I know it's not the prime moving season but we need to sell our house a.s.a.p. If anyone knows of a good realtor in the Bloomington/Normal area we'd greatly appreciate it!!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?™

Thank you all for your referrals. We did find a wonderful realtor who we are very happy with and hopefully we will be selling our house soon!!

Brenda,
The ones that I would recommend are Becky Gerig or Amanda Capodice. Becky has been around awhile and has a great record. She is also a mother from Towanda. Amanda Capodice is relatively new but she is a go getter! She is from South of Bloomington. They both work for different reality groups and have different personalities. My advice would be to meet with who ever you want and see if they work well with you.
Best of Luck!!

I also would reccommend Jack Bataoel (Bay-tall). He sold my friend's house in 26 days! She put it on the market the day after Christmas and it closes next week! His website is www.jackknowshomes.com. Good Luck!

I would DEFINATELY recommend Vic Armstrong - ###-###-#### (Cell). He sold our old house and also built our new house. He works so incredibly hard and is honest - what you see is what you get. He is highly experienced in this market, and he has a large team who helps to market and sell his houses. Our house was on the market with him in Bloomington last year - during a very bad season, and he showed it with in a week and it was SOLD!! If you do contact him, please let him know that the Albertini Family refered him - he is GREAT!!!! Also, if you need help in "staging" your home for sale, please refer to my business listing "Decorate Real Estate, LLC". Staging makes ALL the difference in this world of real estate competition.

I know a great realtor! His name is Jack Bataoel and works with Exit realty. He has two young children and lives in BLoomington. Please call him... he would be happy to help you out. ###-###-####. You can tell him I sent you.

good luck,

M.

Hi there! I just was referred to Mamasource and saw your request - I don't know if you've found a realtor that you are comfortable - and confident in working with - but, we used Beth Caldwell at ____@____.com
She has been a Realtor with Prudential Snyder Real Estate since 1999. Office: ###-###-####
Mobile: ###-###-####
She is Fantastic, makes you her number 1 priority and is a genuine person and business woman! - The best of luck to you with whomever you decide to go with.

My dad has been a realtor in B/N for almost 20 years. He is the managing broker at ReMax Choice. His name is Dan Slagell and he is great with kids, so you would never have to feel like your little guy is in the way!! I am having my fourth kiddo in May and he is sooo excited. It has been great that he is a realtor because of his flexible schedule he has always been able to help me out! Good luck on your move! A.
