My daughter started Kindergarten yesterday and she is insistent upon me packing her lunch. I am hoping that some of you moms out there can give me some suggestions for sandwiches that will make it to lunch time. I have sent her with P,B & J yesterday and today. But I have a feeling that is going to get old. I am concerned about cheese and other things, since it won't be refrigerated. Thank you for your help. :)

if you are worried about keeping things cold, freeze a juice box or yogurt pop and put in the bag. they will thaw by lunchtime and keep it cold.

My daughter who is in first grade and my son who is in kindergarten love fairy princess sandwiches and rescue hero sandwiches same thing just they call them something differant to match boy or girl.

Make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich cut the crust off then cut it in to fours and sprinkle a little "fairy or rescue hero dust on them" The sprinkles are cake sprinkles the little colored ones. The kids love them and eat them all up.

My girls also love other things with peanut butter: raisins, honey, bananas (not all at the same time).

You could also make a grilled cheese and just put an ice pack in her lunch box or a frozen juice box.
