Hi A.,
I have a 10 month old and I am also looking at swing sets. I think it is a good idea to get one as long as it’s age appropriate. I have been looking at all the different Little Tikes swing sets and it's a hard decision to make. I don't want to spend that much money on something that falls apart in a year or two.
I think the Playcenter Playground would be better – you can use it longer (up to age 10). Just add a baby swing for now.
Good luck and keep me posted.

I have an older version of the Endless Adventures Variety Climber with the Swing Set Extension. It's exactly the same as the one you are looking at, but the colors are a little different.
I have a 1-year-old and an almost 3-year-old, and both of them really enjoy it. It's great to have swings in our backyard -- we have the baby swing and a "big kid" swing and they love swinging together. My 2 1/2-year-old doesn't seem to be doing much climbing on the rest of the structure, but my 1-year-old loves the little slide -- it's the perfect size for him.
We bought ours on ebay. It was only a few years old, with just a little bit of fading, but it's in great condition. Plus, we got a really good deal.
Good luck!

I would wait to buy a swing set. There is a little swing set made for kids 6-18 months I believe. It has a little slide and a swing. This way she would be able to climb on it without you being worried about her falling and getting hurt. I know it was either Little Tyks, or Fisher Price. I have seen it at Toys R Us. Good Luck

Hi A.,
my advice is that you wait a year or two. Nine month olds have plenty of fun learning to do without the dangers of a swingset in their own back yard. Everytime she's near it now you will have to hover and the yard won't be relaxing the age on them says 3-6. I'm sure at 2 would be fine, for now just let her learn to walk and get a toddler swing or one of thoose little slides they make.
I'm sure she likes to swing but getting a big set before she is able to play on it is a bad dangerous idea. It's like getting a bike that's too big now so you don't have to get a bigger one later. They have age limits because little kids get hurt.

I think you should wait at least next summer. I bought my step 2 swing set when my daughter was 18month old, but we realized that she still too young after putting it up. So, we didn't use it until the following summer.
