Returning to Work and May Need Evening Care for My Child

I have a three year old daughter that is in day school but I have recently accepted a position that starts off with a night shift. I have found one child care center that offers evening hours but I am little concerned and wondered if any mom out there uses a nannie or an Au Pair for this? I do not know anyone in my situation but would love some comments, suggestions or anything to help with this decision.

What can I do next?

Hi L.,

I have a close friend who does evening and over night daycare at her home. She has been doing it for 2 years. She has 3 kids of her own and another one on the way. I just spoke to her and she does have an opening. If you would like her name and number, let me know. She lives in West Greeley. Good luck!

Hello, I recently went back to work after being a stay at home mom for 4 years. I have been blessed with the best sitter. If you are still looking, she is open to different shifts/overnight hours. She has great references as well.
If you would like to find out more please let me know.

If you have not found anyone yet, I am a licensed provider in Brush and I am open evening hours. I would be happy to have an interview with you if you are still looking. You can emeail me at ____@____.com

Hi L.,

I would call the referral line for your county. Some in home providers do provide 24 hr care. Your child would be much happier in a home then a center at night. Of course if you can afford a nanny to come to your home this is better yet.

Here's a few...

Adam County - ###-###-####
Arapahoe County - ###-###-#### / ###-###-####
Denver County - ###-###-####
Douglas County - ###-###-####

Hope this helps. -

Hi L.,

Take a look on Craigslist to see if there are any posting for people who do evening/overnight care. Otherwise I would check into a nanny referral center to see if there is anyone who prefers evening hours. I'm sure there's someone in the Albuquerque area who could help you.

Good luck!

no matter wher you take her or if you have someone come to your home, make sure you do a background check on them yourself, dont rely on an employer and talk to their past bossess
