Rental Brokers or Agents in Naperville/Aurora/Joliet Area

I'm wondering if anyone knows if there are rental brokers/agents in the Naperville or Joliet area. A friend is moving from NY to the area and is looking to rent a home but doesn't know where to start. I know about realtor.com's rent site so I can pass that along. When we rented, we just called the agent on realtor.com and they showed us the house, but she wants someone who will take her around to several houses. Also, do they charge a fee? Any information would be appreciated!

Thanks!
Stace

I am a realtor with Baird & Warner in Glen Ellyn and in this market we are getting more people wanting to rent rather than buy. Also if someone is coming brand new to the area, it's better to rent for the 1st year to get to know the area and where they want to be...easier to move when you are renting.
There is no fee charged. The realtor will most likely get paid by the owner of the rental when the rental agreement and all are completed. They will no doubt, check credit and your friend would also have to fill out a rental application. Any realtor will be glad to show whatever is available in their price range. Try the B & W office in Naperville. K. S

Parvin and Pia at Remax of Naperville are awesome. They're very friendly and helpful. Their website is www.parvint.com. They do help people looking to rent in the area. But I don't know about fees. I'm sure they'd be glad to answer any questions if you gave them a call at toll free 1-800-638-1220 ext 3024 or their direct line ###-###-####.

Good luck!

Hi S., I was a Realtor in Bloomingdale, and even though I am not currently I do know of a townhouse that is for rent in Naperville. It is a great end unit with a 2 car garage. If your friend would like more information let me know. It is not with a realtor, it is by owner. I am not sure when your friend is moving here but it will be available soon. Hope to hear from you.
Thank you, D.

Hello S., I am full time realtor with century 21 advisors, I have been taking renters out lately, it is a smart move for anyone new to an area and in this market you see a lot of for sale or rent. give your friends my email adress and i can email them straight form the mls listings of homes that are for rent that meet their needs, after they select their favorites we go for a tour, they can look at as many as they like until they find the right one.The best part is they don't have to pay anything other than the credit check. Best wises to all,

Hi S. - I am a Realtor but I work in the Northwest Suburbs. You do not need more than one agent to show you several homes. Realtors have the ability to show each other's listings no matter who they are listed with via the MLS. The renter normally does not pay a fee for this service. If you know a local Realtor I would recommend giving him/her a call. If you would like me to refer someone just let me know. I will find someone for you.
