One of my girlfriend's at work just found out she's pregnant. She has an OB GYN, but he no longer delivers babies. She wants to have her baby at North Hills hospital and needs a good recommendation on a doctor that will deliver there. She lives in Fort Worth close to 35W and Western Center. Thanks in advance for your recommendations!

I would recommend Dr. Barbara Webster. She is a part of "The Women's Group". Any doc in that group is very nice and they are all women. They are located in the bldg next to Harris Methodist HEB. Hope that helps!

Dr. Patrick Allen is in the pofessional building at North Hills Hospital and he delivers at NRH Hosp. He is my OBGYN and I also use his PA Dr. Maurie...she is great..but your friend will see Dr. Allen b/c he is the one thats delivers. He however wasnt able to deliver my baby b/c mine was born at 24 weeks and I was taken to Harris DTFW b/c North Hills isnt prepared for babies that small.
I really do reccommend this practice ..they always get me in asap when I need it and are very good at giving samples of meds too. The number is ###-###-####..if you see the PA after the child she also sees patients at the Basswood Office...off Park Glen and Basswood. Good Luck to her.

I recommened Patrick Allen as well. For pregnancy, you see him every other time (then you see him only during the 3rd trimester) and his midwife Maurie the other times. She is great too. I like his whole staff and have visited both his offices throughout my pregnancy. He is very caring and we joked back and forth during my delivery even. Plus, the staff at North Hills Hospital is great and they all love Dr. Allen.

I have seen Dr. Charles Safely @ North Hills hospital for about 5 years now and would highly recommend him. He and his staff are so inviting and make you feel so comfortable. He is a regular OB/GYN, but we went through a lot of infertility issues before we adopted our son and Dr. Safely (& staff) were very supportive and accommodating to us during that time. I have always felt like a person and never "just a number" when I visit his office.

I recommend Dr. Carla Tabbs, who is in the professional building at N Hills. She just had her first baby, but returned from maternity leave in time to delivery my first baby. Her partners are women also. I don't have her phone number handy, but her partners are Dr. Rhodesia Lastrap and Dr. Dana Snell. They also have the best sonogram tech. When I had my 3D sono, my son wouldn't cooperate to show his face. The tech spent over an hour and a half trying to get a good picture. Since he was not able to get a good full face picture, he only charged us $25 for materials instead of full price. We still went home with an awesome DVD, video and stills of our baby. He then offered to try again a couple of weeks later, but we were still unable to get a good picture. It's always wonderful to see your baby and we again got the DVD, video and stills, for again only $25.
