If you have used the stroller for rent at Disneyworld would you recommend them for use by an 18 month old. Do they have straps or anything inside them to make the kids secure? Please give me your feedback. Thanks.

The seat did look really hard when I saw them too. We brought our fold up Mclaren and it worked great. Great for the airport, checked it at the gate, and it went right on the buses with us. We loved all the stroller parking at Disney next to each ride. :)

We just got back a couple weeks ago. I didn't use them, but I wouldn't recommend them. They look very uncomfortable (hard plastic) the sun shades don't really cover the kids and there's no way for them to nap comfortably. We had our 13 month old and 2.5 year old. We brought 2 Maclaren strollers that I got on Craig's LIst for around $50. They reclined, folded up really easily, had shoulder straps to carry them and small baskets underneath.

There's a lot of walking at Disney, whether you use their buses or drive, just to get to the stroller rental places. I'd hate to have to carry a small child and everything else until you get the stroller and on the way out at night. I know a lot of people use them, but I personally think they're a little more appropriate for kids who are a little older.

Good luck!

We just got back and our stroller didn't have a harness type buckling system (over the shoulders and buckle at the crotch area) it just had the belt around the waist and buckled at the crotch, make sense? The strollers definitely do hold a lot and turn on a dime, I wish I could have taken mine home it was so easy to maneuvre. Have fun on your vacation!

most people opt to rent the strollers, they do have some sort of harness but I think it is the type around the waist not the whole body... have you checked the website? the good thing about these strollers is that they are very easy to push around, have many compartments for drinks and bags and what not and you don't have to worry about parking it outside every time you go see a show or take a ride... Hope this helps :)

We were there over Thanksgiving and took our own stroller....so glad we did!! The ones they rent are for older kids and not safe for little ones. Don't worry about someone stealing your stroller...everyone just leaves them parked at the rides...we had no problems and left bags, etc in the stroller with nothing ever missing or bothered. Take your stroller and enjoy your trip! Our daughter was 11 months old and had a ball!!

Absolutely, went two different times! We got the double strollers and they hold a ton of stuff along with kids! First time kids were 2 and 5 and second time kids were 4 and 7. Got them both times and wouldn't go without them. They are a godsend! Never had a problem with anyone taking them either while you are riding rides!

Our 3 year old LOVED the strollers that are available at the parks. We didn't have to mess with getting them on the buses, but we did have to carry her at night because she was so tired. We have been 2 times and they worked out well for us. We didn't have to worry about the strap with her being older, so sorry, I can't help with that part. Have a great time!

Hey K.,
We went to Disney World when my daughter was 15 mths old. We took an umbrella stroller, you know, one of the cheap ones, and we were very happy we did that. If we had had 2 kids at the time it would have been worth is to spend the money on there strollers everyday, but haveing just one small stroller wasn't bad at all to keep up with. Yall have a blast!!!
