Question About Monitors for Children in Different Rooms

We have just moved our daughter (4 1/2 months) into her own room and our son (22 months) into a toddler bed - I would feel much more comfortable and able to sleep better myself if I could have a monitor in each room. I have googled dual transmitter monitors and couldn't find any. I tried the same brand monitor and get interference. What did you do? Any advice from moms with children close in age would be appreciated. Thanks.

What can I do next?

Hi J.,
We have this monitor system and love it!! It works great in our two story home. It has two monitors and two receivers (each one monitors both rooms). They are great.

I am a home day care provider. I have the monitor in the hallway and can hear any of the four napping kids through the monitor all in different rooms when they wake or even just move around in bed. If your monitor works well, it should be okay to have the one monitor in the hallway between the rooms.

Fisher Price has a few monitors. What you might want to 'Google' is "multiple room baby monitor." I was able to get a few more brands and places to look. Since I don't use a monitor, I can't recommend one, but I thought I would help you try to find what you are looking for.

I had 2 under 2 and used the Angel monitors (you can turn off the matress sensor).
