Question About Dizziness in Early Pregnancy

Hello Ladies,
My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for the past 6 months (trying for our second). I think I ovulated within the past 3 days. I'm now feeling very dizzy. Could I be feeling the pregnancy this early if in fact I am pregnant with the only symptom dizziness? Thank you

Well, all I can say is that I felt dizzy the day after I got pregnant, and that is how I knew. I am quite sensitive to changes in my body. I disregarded it, though, until I missed a period and then tested positive. With my second, again I knew I was pregnant right away. But I kept testing negative until about 6/7 weeks. So, you just need to wait till you are ready for the test and until then, try to stay neutral.

There is absolutely no way of knowing. If you ovulated 3 days ago, the egg would not even have implanted and your body isn't even sure it's pregnant.
I never felt symptoms earlier than the missed period with either of my kids. I am 37 weeks pregnant with #2 now and I looked so hard for early signs this time (thinking I knew what to look for after having one) but saw nothing conclusive.
Beware the negative test though. I took maybe 2-3 tests before I missed my period and they all came out negative. and here i am 37 weeks pregnant.
Hang in there. the waiting is tough, but unavoidable.

Eat more carbs, drink more fluids, and call your doctor. You should not be dizzy. It could be anything...dehydration, gestational diabetes, high blood pressure, not enough caloric intake, etc.

It could be! I was CRAZY dizzy with my first pregnancy (my daughter) for about four or five days, but it happened around 3 weeks, not three days. It never happened with my second (a son).

Congrats if you are! LOL

PS- Or, it could be the beginning of a CRAZY flu that is going around. You get all congested in your head, which makes you dizzy, then your throat gets crazy and you're coughing for weeks. Get some rest if you feel tired...it seems to help a lot.

S., I think this is a case of wishful thinking. While you may have conceived, dizziness is not a sign of conception. Technically, you really wouldn't even be "pregnant" because pregnancy doesn't technically begin until implantation, which doesn't normally occur in the first 2 or 3 days. I do hope that you are pregnant, but I'd see your doctor about the dizziness, it could be any number of things - ear infection, sinus infection, anemia - that could potentially benefit from treatment - but if you do have an illness, make sure that your doctor and pharmacist know that you may be pregnant before prescribing any medication.
Good luck!!!

It's highly unlikely that your feeling any results if you are. The egg more then likely hasnt even implanted yet if you are. It takes about 7 days for that to happen (from the time of ovulation). So you more then likely reading to much into it. I wouldn't get my hopes up just yet.

sure, i was very dizzy very early on...good luck if you are.

don't worry honey it's possible that you're pregnant with your second! =]
i am pregnant with my fifth and due this winter... i have four kids under the age of three. Have u missed a period? i think you cud probably try a pregnancy test =]
