I have an adopted 2.5 year old from China. I am in the process of looking for a preschool for her next fall. She is very social and loves to learn. I am looking for an educational and social setting. I want to make sure she is ready for Kindergarten when she goes. I will have her in a preschool when she is 3 and again when she is 4. Some focus more on the social and she has that down. I am interested in Public preschools, community preschools and in home preschools. Thanks!

I am also a licensed Elem. teacher looking for a preschool for my 2.5 year old next fall. I have found Learning L.A.M.B.s to be a great looking preschool. They appear to be truly focused on preparing the child for Kindergarten. The programs are offered in the mornings only M-F and are 2 days for 3 year olds. They are located off of Linclon and Yosemite. The phone number is ###-###-####.

I don't know where you live in Parker, but I live in Stroh Ranch and my son goes to preschool at Legacy Point Elementary School. He goes 4 days a week, but you can also have them go 2 days if you want. I really like the teachers and he is learning a lot. The school's # is ###-###-####. Ask for the preschool when you call and they should be able to give you more info.

Hi Amy--We were lucky enough last year to find a wonderful preschool in Centennial. It's called Circle of Friends Christian Preschool. It's a great school taught by sweet, warm and loving motherly types--but very well-educated ones! It's a very gentle school but a lot of fun, too. They have many classes and times to choose from, they have open enrollment and I don't think they have waiting lists right now. Your child doesn't have to be potty trained like at so many other schools. They have other things you can do like 'parent's day out', and you can extend your child's preschool day with the 'lunch bunch'. You can find out more from their website: www.circleoffriendschristian.com.
