Pregnant? - Houston,TX

I do NOT want to get my hopes up at ALL, but here are the facts:
(BD = "baby dance" aka intercourse) :)
(OPK = Ovulation Predictor Kit)

9/27 - First, very light period since my Mirena was removed on 9/9.
10/12 - OPK says there is a hormone surge (BD'd)
10/13 - Same results on OPK, except a little lighter (BD'd)
10/14 - OPK reveals no additional line, hormone surge over? (BD'd)
10/17 - sore tata's...bright red gush in the morning, no more all day until later that night we BD'd and it was there again. Nothing else over night...also my hubs commented "why are you so warm! Your skin is on fire"
10/18 - light Brownish looking discharge, sore boobies. Maybe a little upset to my stomach but it passed pretty quickly.

I believe I have a 28 day cycle. So if my calculations are correct, I COULD test by mid week or Friday-ish?? Nervous. We really want to have a baby, but I don't want to get my hopes up so soon. Any input...??

Thanks for reading...
M.

I'm going to wait it out and test on Monday, the 25th. (the day I should get my period.) I'll post on here and let yall know.

10/25/10 I haven't tested. I think i'm going to wait until tomorrow morning. Still no "aunt flo". I'll keep all interested parties informed. <3

NOt pregnant. Aunt flo came 10/25.

Do not test too early- wait the 28 days....otherwise, it could just be a big fat waste of money :) Good luck!

Sounds like it's possibilities. That is how I knew I was pregnant both time, sore tatas! That is the only time mine ever were that sore.

It wouldn't hurt to buy multiple tests and give it a try. If it's negative test again later, but if you can wait then wait until your sure it's time to test! I know lots of women who took multiple tests in their first trimester, just to double check lol!

Good luck, I hope it's positive and everything works out! If not keep trying!

There is only one thing to do...wait it out. I don't think there is any way to tell for sure if the symptoms are pregnancy symptoms or if they are the effects from removing the Mirena.
Don't test too early as the reading may be a wrong negative if you do. With my first child a had to test 3 times because the first time I tested it showed negative, even though I was convinced I was pregnant. The second time there was a very faint blue line - I thought it was there, my husband said he couldn't see anything. I still thought I was pregnant and a third test a few days later finally revealed the happy truth.

Good luck.

I know how you feel, I think you should wait it out though. We've been trying to conceive again, and it's like every month I think I feel something and I'm like "maybe it worked!", but so far nothing. We have two daughters, and to be sure both times we waited until a few days after we could actually test. It is sooo hard to wait though! Try to be patient if you can! Good luck!!

I do not want to get your hopes up either, as a mommy that's been pregnant twice, although told I could not get pregnant once, I have experienced those same things, right before finding out I was pregnant. However, I have also experienced some of those at times and turned out I was not pregnant, but not all at once or in a month's time. Good luck and I hope you are pregnant. If this is your first, it really is an amazing experience and if this is not your first, then you already know how amazing it is. :D

Not sure if you're also temperature charting, but if you are 16 days post-ovulation without a temperature drop (and they've remained consistent) then chances are you are pregnant or at least you could test.
