Pre School Routine

Our family is as well fly by the seat of your pants. The only reoutine i require is that in the moprning before any food or play they need to get readdy for the day. That means that just in case we go somewhere they are ready when i say lets go.
One thing they did at our preschool is sign themselves in. The teacher had different shaopes with each childs name on it and the board they velcroed it to choices
happy, sad, mad,unsure,
what i would practice is shapes, letters,colors ,coloring and writing . Position of grip helps also.

Something that I would suggest is to have a routine for the morning that you start practicing now so that she will get used to it that will be conducive to getting her to school on time. Like making sure that you are all up and eating, dressed (bathed if needed) by a certain time. My DD went to preschool last year and we would try and leave about 10-15 minutes early for school. Then we would plan to have a book that we would read until it was actually time to go into the building. My DD was in the Headstart preschool program and it was a great way to get the required volunteer hours to read to her everyday in the car before going in. If there is any "homework" don't save it to do in the morning, do it the night before--then you won't be as rushed. And like the other post said, try and do as much the night before, like layout clothes. Good luck. It is a special time to have the kids start school and enjoy.

Generally just making sure teeth are brushed and clothes are on. I've been doing this for a while now with my now 2 and 4 year old and I don't get up much earlier. They feed him at preschool, so while I offer him food in the morning or on the way (pbj's and bananas are great in the car), I don't worry if he doesn't eat.

My son went to preschool for two years and now he is off to kindergarten. Really good advice that I have is try to get as many things done the night before. Try to teach each of the kids as much independence as you can. It will make it so much easier for you!! Get your preschool daughter a backpack and make school a Big Girl experience for her.
