try "first lutheran church and preschool" on concord blvd. near landana. the director and teachers are all wonderful, and they are one of the most reasonably priced schools i could find. my son just started kindergarten this fall and he was definitely ready. their number is ###-###-####. good luck! hope you like it :).

hey L.. My daughter goes to Forest hills preschool, its on Alhambra right on the Pleasant Hill Martinez boarder. They are sooooo wonderful! My daughter loves going to school, and never has bad days! The director is a wonderful woman, and willing to work with you about scheduling and cost. I don't know if they still have openings, but you can call and find out. Let me know if you want more info!

Hello there, ahh school. I have a just turned 4 year old and am quite particular about the educational surroundings of our son. I enjoyed 2 schools in the Concord area this year. Clayton Valley Presbyterian Preschool on Ygnacio, but past Safeway on the same side. Great program, great teachers and very good price, bring your own lunch. Compared to another program at KinderCare on Concord Blvd, this one is a bit more but there is more food provided, lunch and a hot breakfast for the kids who get there in time. KinderCare does a bit more on the studies but both places we like. Good Luck and don't let him see you cry when you drop him off... you will be fine! A.

Hi L., You should check out Creative Play Center in Pleasant Hill. It is a co-op so you know all the parents and teachers very well and work in the class once a week. I have been at the school for over 6 years, and it is a very safe environment.
