HI

I have a little playgroup in the east vally that trys to meet once a week, most of the kids are between the ages of 1-2. Also there is a playgroup on momslikeme.com that meets about twice a month. Email me at ____@____.com and I can give you that lady's information.

I am a part of MOMS Club and I highly recommend it. There are weekly activities for the kids in addition to playgroups and monthly Mom's Night Out. You can attend as much or little as you're interested in. I know SO much more about fun things to do with kids in our area than I even had any idea existed before. And it's just nice to have a social outlet for both me and the kids and a support network. They brought me meals for 2 weeks when I had my daughter. It's very regional, so everyone in my chapter lives very near to me, which is convenient. To find a chapter near you go to www.momsclub.org My chapter only costs $23/year

Hi! Check the activity calendar for Phoenix Public Libraries(www.phoenixpubliclibrary.org). They have Baby Time, where they sing, read stories and play. Is about 45 minutes long and a great way to interact with other children.

Chandler M&Ms on meetup.com has a lot of things to do for little ones this age. At 4.5yrs, my daughter is kinda outgrowing the group, but I read a lot of times about functions where the ones attending are around your daughters age. I'm not sure if you were interested in having to join a group, but if that's not an issue, it seems like a great group. There are dues, but it's $5.00 every 6 months I think. Let me know if you're interested. I believe they have "intro" things to do to meet them and decide if this is what you like. They are fun around 16mo aren't they!

Have you tried any Moms Clubs? There is the club called "The Moms Club" and I believe there is another one also, but forgot the name. Just do a search in the internet. The one that I belonged to had playgroups and weekly activities.

I used www.meetup.com to find a mom's/play group. It has worked out very well! You can type in your zip code and find all kinds of groups in your area.
