Playgroups in and Around Andover, MA

First of all, you are amazing! Three boys under four!! I have one boy (age 2) and he is a handfull!

I have been trying (on craigslist) to start a group in or around Woburn, which is very close to Andover, so I'm going to pay very close attention to the responses you get. I am not originally from the area and I have found that unless you grew up here or are involved in town politics or PTA it is hard to meet other moms who are looking to hook up for a playdate or two. Every one has either known each other forever or not available the same times I am - I will admit that I haven't signed Jr up for any of the music, gym or crafty classes that other people do! I figure that will be this winter when it gets just too cold for jr to do the park and scavanger hunts etc with mom!

I just saw your posting about classes for your boys...wow you have your hands full!
I thought I'd give you some info on my business, BABYSTEPS Early Childhood Movement Center.

We are located in North Andover and have a lot of classes to offer you and your children that include dance, music, gym and athletic classes. We also have Playgroup & Parents' Group that meet each day.

We have a new class starting in September, Mamma Mambo, a high energy dance and workout class targeted toward you but taken by both you and your kids. The best part about our whole Babysteps program is that it is drop-in so you aren't stuck with a specific day and time once you sign up. You can come and go as you please for $10 a day (2 hours of classes) or $50/ month for unlimited classes (We are open 5 days/ week).

We are open Tues-Sat 9-12pm and our fall session begins Saturday September 6th

Im a co Organizer for Merrimack Valley Stay at Home Mom's Out and About playground. we do at least four outtings a month. we do have a group fee of 2.00 every 3 months( the fee is to help pay for the web site.) we have about 13 members now from ages 6 months up to 3.
