Photographer Recommendation for 1 Year Old Pictures

My daughter will be 1 on July 23rd and I would like to have her one year pictures done professionally instead of somewhere like Sears Portrait Studio. I was also thinking about having family portraits done too. Does anyone have any recommendation for a great photographer that does a great job and is reasonably priced. I live in East Gilbert.

I absolutely love Portrait Innovations. They have a great package for $9.95- if you can choose just one pose! The larger packages are reasonably priced, too. The photographers are great with small children. We have been several times and always have a great experience. I wasn't impressed with Sears or Target.

I would definately take my kids to Christy Martin. Here is her website with some of her work and all of her information. http://www.christymartinphotography.com/ Good luck finding the right person for you!

Check out http://www.elhicksphotography.blogspot.com/. Her rates are reasonable, she will go wherever you want to take pictures and is featured on mamasource, I believe you get a discount if you mention you found her there. She is a friend of mine who has taken great pictures of my son that I have been very happy with.

I just recently had a photographer come take pictures of my little one and she was amazing!! She was willing to go just about anywhere and she did real pictures not poses... Her name is Diana Rothery. I am not sure about prices since my sister set it up for us (she's my brother is laws co-worker) but I would imagine all that could be discussed.

Her Email is: ____@____.com
Check out her Blog as well to see her work.. Emmalee is my little one.. Dianarothery.blogspot.com

I kow of a great photographer and she lives in Gilbert. She was originally our wedding photographer, but when our 1st was born, we had her come to our house and take some family pics. She is really sweet, listens to what you want, and is very creative. We especially liked that she was able to capture "natural" moments...didn't make us look all posed.
Her name is Shelly Ivy and her website is www.azweddingphotographer.com and her phone is: ###-###-####

check out She-she Killough we loved the pics she did for us,she did some great generational shots, outside shots & had some beautiful spots in East Mesa for us to choose from...We will always go back to her!

We just got our 1 year old's pictures and family pictures done and Christy Martin is AWESOME! It was fun.

I love portrait innovations. It's just south of Chandler Mall next to Target.

They have a package for $9.95 where you get
1 10x13
2 8x10
4 5x7
4 3.5x5
32 wallets
and your choice of 6 greeting cards or a calendar

I normally get that plus six other poses (3 sheets of each pose) for like $125 I think, somewhere in there. They do appointments 2 weeks ahead of time and charge no sitting fee.

I took my daughter to Kiddie Kandids at Superstition Springs Shopping Center. They have a very inviting studio (my daughter was terrified of the dark Sears studio), and the photographers are friendly and will work with you on what you would like to see in your pictures. They also have birthday club discounts, and you can pick up your pictures in about 15 minutes after the session.

Happy Smiling!

I LOVE Scott at Contempo at Southern and Gilbert. They also have those photo statues for around $50.00. I have one of both of my kids for their senior pictures. I plan on getting one of my new grandchild too. (we're still awaiting his arrival! could be any day now) You can end up paying a lot there. You just have to not get caught up in buying all of the pictures. Their quality is so much better than Walmart or Sears.
