Pen Ink
I just noticed today that my aughter got ahold of a blue ink pen in my car and drew all over the interior roof of my car. Is there any way to get blue ink out of light brown/tan color fabric? Thanks...my hubby is going to freak if I can't get it out. lol

I buy this stuff called Carbona. There are a number of them. # 3 is made exclusively to remove Ink and Crayon. I order it on-line. Carbona.com It also has one for oil and grease. I have dried a piece of clothing before knowing about the stain and have treated it and washed it again and it removes the stain. I've been using Carbona products for years. Did a great job on cleaning the carpet on the stairs.
Good luck, C.

Good suggestions below... also try the commercial cleaners like Resolve. That seems to get everything out of our upholsteries!
Don't forget to "test" the rubbing alcohol and hairspray in a small spot to make sure that it doesn't ruin the fabric before you try the whole roof.
Also... search the car for the source of the pens! There may be more lurking!

My daughter did the same thing to our couch and I was so upset. I did a google and aerosol hair spray (the cheaper brand, the better)was suggested. I was nervous, but also desparate, so I tried it. Worked like a charm, I couldn't believe it. Pen is absolutely gone!

I thought I remembered hearing that hairspray dissolves ink. Good luck!

Try oxi-clean. We use it on ours rugs all the time, and it gets out even stains that have been there for years! Good luck!

Wow, that is probably one of the toughest questions I have
seen. I would research it on line. As far as your husband,
tell him not to sweat the small stuff. In the scheme of
life, just not something to get nuts about. However, I am
sure he will just like mine would have. Good luck.

Sol-U-Mel works great on ink because its really concentrated, but you have to get it from someone who sells Melaleuca or go to their website.

Go get 90% rubbing alcohol. Put it on and rub. It may take a couple of tries but I use it on my husbands shirts all the time.
Good Luck,
