Ovulation Kits????

I have never used anything like this before. I want information from people who have used ovulation kits and had luck. Which ones did you use? Again I am totally clueless and there is a lot to choose from and want to make sure I make the best decision.

What can I do next?

I have used several different kinds, and to me I couldn't tell the difference between the high-cost and the cheap Target brand. Best of luck! Also they have a saliva scope at Walgreen's I think it is like $25 a friend of mine had good luck with it but I never tried it myself. It is reuseable so you don't have to buy it every month.

You know... We were TTC for 14 months before we got Josh... I got some Internet cheepies we called them on the fertility friends page.. They sucked!!!!! Cheap was right...

Your best bet is for real.. at the dollar store.. they have O kits their!!!! their PG kits are great too!!!!!! Just as good as the ones at wal mart....

Just go and get a dozon.... Sounds funny but reallly!!!! that is what most did on the boards I went to.. IF they are not in the main isle.. They have been keeping then behind counter.. people were taking them out of boxes how rude hu!!!!

Anyway.. shake the box.. make sure it has soemthing in it!!!!

Good luck!!!!!

IF you are not already on do check out the fertilityfriends.com IT is amzing.. I leared sooo much!!!!! (It only too us so long 14 months cuz I was on that darn Depo shot!!! Pure EVIL!!!! ) stay away from it!!!!

Good luck!!!

my OBGYN suggested using this and it worked for us, I wixh that I could tell you what brand but it has been over 3 years ago.

Try the Assure Ovulation Predictor. It is about $45 dollars, but you get your moneys worth as you can use it for 9 days, or save some of the tests for a different month. I know you can find it on the internet to purchase and you can also buy it at a pharmacy store...I can't think of the name of the store though. Super Pharmacy or something like that. Try it! It works! I did the kit one time and we got pregnant that month.

Good luck!

One good cheap way to keep track of your fertility is the simple digital basal thermometer. Take your temp first thing every morning and keep it on a chart. There are a lot of websites that help you understand your temps and provide a place ot post them. Fertilityfriends.com is awesome site and great for support and advice. I was able to avoide pregnancy for 2 year taking my temps and I have no doubt it would be just as useful for getting pregnant, plus no aditional expense after the thermometer. Its a great way to get to know your body too.

I would second the vote for the digital clear blue easy monitor. You can get them online with the urine sticks pretty reasonable. The problem to consider with the disposable 7 day kits from the store is most women cannot detect their fertile time with one set of 7 tests and if your cycle varies or if you are of an age (30's) where your cycle may be longer (more than 30 days) you might as well pay for the digital monitor it stores your info in its memory so you don't have to chart a thing on your calendar. It really worked for us.

I have used the clearblue easy ovulation tests and got pregnant in 3 months! They are a little pricey (7 tests for around $17, but they work...)

Although it was expensive, we used the Clearblue Easy digital fertility monitor. It worked within2 months for 2 pregnancies (I lost one pregnancy)and 1 month with my current pregnancy!

It was completely and utterly worth the expense in my book!
