my best advice to you for a VBAC at Harris would be to see Lynsey Cragel (spelling?) who is a nurse midwife there. Harris has a great midwife program and they now have water birth facilities. It will be hard to find a Dr. who is truly supportive of a VBAC especially if you narrow it down to one hospital. If you are open to other hospitals with teh ultimate goal for a VBAC adn not just convenience I would suggest Dr. Cummings at Denton Presby. I would also check out the ICAN yahoo list(ICAN Dallas). It is a VBAC support/resource group. You will find a wealth of information on there. Good luck with your VBAC!! It can be done...I know several VBAC mamas.

I agree with Dr. Fite. I know he and his wife personally and he is a great OB/GYN.

Hi C.. I highly recommend Dr. Fite. He has a beautiful office with a great staff. My second child was a VBAC and he was the one that encouraged me to try it. Also, when your appt. is at 10:00 you are in there to see him at 10:00! His number is ###-###-####.

If you're at all interested in a midwife, you might want to consider Kathleen Donaldson (UNT midwives). ###-###-#### http://www.nurse-midwife.com/about/
