Hi Everyone: I am thinking of getting an entirely new hairstyle (I found a picture I just love) and I do not currently have a hair stylist. I am very very particular about my hair. I want a cut and also highlights. Can anyone recommend someone who does an awesome job. Thank you!

What can I do next?

I am extremely picky and have always gone to men to do my hair. I go to Relaxations Spa in West Allis to get my hair done by Greg. He does a great job and is reasonable in price. Their number is ###-###-####. They are also a full service salon (I get my nails done there every other week as well). You can tell him I recommended you and you shoudl get a discount.

Hello K.. As a hairstylist myself I understand your delema. Its hard to find someone who you can trust enough to do your hair...I dont want to really plug myself on this sight, but I have been doing hair for 8 years and have kept up on all the current styles. I work at East Towne Spa in Milwaukee, and absoultly love it there. The atmosphere is wonderful. There are only six girls that work for the salon (myself being one of them),which makes it nice and comfortable to relaxe in. Before here I worked at a salon in Elm Grove as a color specialist working with Goldwell color. I now work with Redkin Color at East Town Spa, and I love it! Along with Redkin products we also use Aveda for styling. If your interested to know more about the salon there is a web ____@____.com address is 718 E. Wells 2 blocks west of Prospect Ave. our # is 271-hair. also on our web sight there is a package you can purchase for (I beleive?) $50 or $60, this includes 5 visits. 1. Haircut 2. accent hilights(5-7 surface highlights) 3. 30 min. massage 4. hand massage and parifinn dip 5. eyebrow wax. All of this is included in the one time price, its just a way for us to bring in new customers, and for them to get a feel for all our services. Ok ok here I said I wasnt going too plug myself, and I keep going on and on. If your intersetd at all you can get in touch with myself or the salon.

Thank you K., R. :)

Depends on where you live but if you know where UWM is....
There is a Latina named Carmen working in the Cost cutters on Oakland ave. 2 blocks west from campus that is awesome! Hair cuts are $11 on Tuesdays! I don't know the cost for coloring as I only did it once and my hair was so dry and brittle that I said I wouldn't do it again. This is the eastside of Milwaukee not far from Shorewood. Good Luck!

I was going to say, depends where you live. I live in Waukesha but travel to Milwaukee. My lady (Lori) has been cutting/highlighting my hair for 20+ years. I won't go anywhere else. She's works at JB Richards. It's on Layton Ave, next door to The Packing House, across from the airport.
Good luck!
